THE BLESSED HOLY SPIRIT

I am deeply concerned at how little most of us know the blessed Holy Spirit. As Divine, and the glorious Third person of the Triune God, it is appalling that we are not specialists in Him.  Most of us are acutely aware of the likes and dislikes of those around us who we claim to love, yet we have little to no knowledge at all of the likes and dislikes of this most significant of persons.  He is so important because He was sent by the Father and the Son as a Divine Emissary.  An ordinary man was certainly not good enough for the task.  An angel or archangel was not good enough and Jesus Himself had completed His earthly ministry. There was no other able to fulfill this singularly extraordinary role except the blessed Holy Spirit for He alone, as Spirit of Truth, FULLY knows the mind and will of the Father.  He was there before Eden dividing light from darkness; separating all truth from confusion and manifesting THE TRUTH to the universe, by whom the worlds were framed, namely Christ!  His amazing task is to DISCOVER YOU!  He traveled the world and the nations to find you.  He brooded over you in all your stubbornness and rebellion and never gave up wooing you and revealing the love of Christ to you.  As a reluctant BRIDE, He drew you to the altar of marriage as He manifested the passionate heart of the DIVINE BRIDEGROOM and the will of the Almighty Father.  He ever lives in your heart and life to reveal more of Christ who intercedes in you and for you before the throne of the Father so that, presenting you HOLY, UNBLAMEABLE and UNREPROVABLE, He may use you as a vessel through whom this amazing person may flow.  Yet, at every turn you block His flow by damming up your life and preventing Him from fulfilling His ministry THROUGH you.

 

He has come to reveal the deepest truths of YOUR passionate Bridegroom’s love to you. He has come to separate all light and darkness within you.  He has come to be the Holy Comforter to and in you.  He has come to manifest the will of the Father as pleasing the Son and He has come that you might have a wholeness and unity in this amazing marriage as you are convicted to change from glory to glory to the image of Christ.  He reveals the likes and dislikes of your BRIDEGROOM.  If you would only heed His gentle but then finally forceful persuasion, you would come into HARMONY with your amazing heavenly husband who cannot present you  to the Father on any other terms except His own.

 

STOP right now even reading this newsletter and let Him speak to your heart!

 

The Holy Spirit is here to reveal so much more of Christ who IS the glory of the Lord.  So many Christians are looking for a physical manifestation of the glory but the GLORY dwells right inside of us and the only way we are going to encounter GOD’S GLORY and more of His GLORY is by the power and working of the blessed Holy Spirit who is here to reveal HIM.

 

MALAWI SCHOOL: DESKS CHAIRS AND TEACHERS

 

We are looking for teachers for the school in Malawi. If you are a teacher, serious about the Lord and would like work on the mission field for a couple of years please contact the office in Kansas City either by email or by calling.  We are looking for self supporting missionaries who would be willing to give up two years and come out to Africa.  We have cottages for the staff which will be furnished.  The main meal of the day will be supplied.  If you feel that you would like to go for an indefinite period of time then we suggest that you raise money to purchase a vehicle.  The current price of a Toyota Hilux (four wheel drive with five seats) is approximately $25,000.

DESKS AND CHAIRS:

 

We have found a company in China who will supply desks and chairs and stacking chairs for the school hall.  We need 2,000 for the hall and 1,200 desks and chairs.  The company in Malawi that was to make the desks and chairs are unable to fill the order.

 

As a ministry we have always known that we would end up in China some day.  We have patiently waited for a door to open.  God’s timing and His plans are always perfect if we work according to them.  Because we were faithful to go to Sudan it opened a mighty door into Finland and now Finland has opened a door into China.

China sent a sample stacking chair via airfreight.  It is extremely well made and will have blue vinyl cushioning.  Royal blue are the Kalibu Colors.  Vinyl will make it easier to keep them clean.

MALAWI AND MOCAMBIQUE

 

Kalibu Ministries is winning more souls for Jesus everyday in Malawi and Mozambique respectively through the work of the zealous and wholly dedicated pastors and evangelists.

 

In Blantyre Malawi, the great movement of the Holy Spirit which clearly demonstrates that God is at work has been witnessed by the consistent growth of the church in Blantyre and the village churches with attendance increasing. The church in Chileka on Sunday April 17, 2005 baptized thirty new converts in water and they were filled with the Holy Ghost after they received Jesus as their personal savoir.

 

Not only did we hold a baptismal service but those who had been blessed with children brought forth their new born babies for dedication to the Lord. The dedication ceremony was presided over by Pastor Paisley.

 

The day was an exciting event and representatives from other churches and Ministries came to fellowship with Kalibu Kwa Yesu Church in Chileka-Blantyre.  The occasion was celebrated with more than enough food and finally a soccer match was played between the churches.

“I have seen the church growing in my home area because of the sound Biblical teaching I receive in Pastors Jim and Eileen Kirt’s Bible School.  What a blessing it is to have such dedicated missionaries amidst us!  People are really amazed at my teachings and members of other churches are already joining me. However, with this dramatic growth of our church, I am already under serious persecution by those pastors who have lost their followers to my church but since they are fighting Almighty God they will never succeed”.

Pastor Caminho is a humble man who has been seriously undertaking the work of God in his area. He has opened new church branches in his village and God has used him to reach the Jehovah’s witnesses in the area. Many have come to hear him teach, ask questions, some disputing his message but many are coming to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and profess Him as their personal Savior. One woman who had been laboring to deliver her child, had visited the health centre and native doctor but no help at all. hereafter the woman came to Pastor Caminho begging for prayer as the news had already circulated the village that Pastor Caminho worships a wonder working God who heals instantly. As Caminho laid his hand on the woman with power and authority from Jesus, miraculously within that same hour the poor woman delivered a healthy baby and woman promised to join Caminho’s church because she has experienced the Mighty power of God in Caminho. 

BICYCLE DISTRIBUTION

As a part of an on going program to equip our pastors, evangelists and workers we will be purchasing ten bicycles every second month.  The cost of these is $70 each.  This will enable our men and women of God to travel more easily between the churches they oversee and more easily to branch out into new areas.  Many of them still have to walk many miles. 

Our plan is to roof a church each alternate month.  If the church members get together and make the bricks and build the church then we undertake to purchase the corrugated iron sheets for the roofing.  Each roof costs approximately $500 for a church that will seat about 250 people.
 

 

UPDATES 
 

Our container left for Malawi from Toledo at the beginning of April..  We had a wonderful team working on it and they managed to load within the required two hours despite the heavy downpour of rain.

Our grateful thanks to Karen Smith and Mail it for storing everything.  Our thanks to Mike and Mary Lee Benedict and his team from Findlay, to Cathy and Rick Cowell and especially to Tim from Mail It who worked so hard to get everything ready.

We will be collecting for another container which we hope to send by the Fall.  We are needing any items that would be required for a school—stationery, books for a library, chalkboards (if you know of an old school closing down then please ask for their chalk boards).

Please remember that if it is something you would not use in your own home because of damage or age then please do not send it to us.  We have to have items in good condition to offset the shipping costs.
